Phoenix Rise started as a small singles dealer at local game nights in Houston, Texas. Today we run two full stores, weekly events across three formats, and one of the most active buylist programs in the state.
The Beginning
FROM A KITCHEN TABLE TO TWO STORES
Phoenix Rise was founded with a simple belief: the best thing about trading card games isn't the cards: it's the people you play them with. Our first store opened in Houston with a team of four, a glass display case, and a commitment to running the best Friday Night Magic in Texas.
We expanded to Dallas in 2023, and our third location is in planning. Every decision we make, from the events we run to the cards we buy, comes back to building the strongest possible local community for TCG players.
We stock Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Flesh and Blood, Lorcana, One Piece, and more. If it's a competitive card game, we carry it.
